Citi College is proud to provide educational opportunities for international students. If you are not a Citizen of Canada or a Permanent Resident of Canada and wish you pursue your education at Citi College, the information below is meant just for you.

Before Applying to Citi College

To ensure you receive your admission in a timely manner, ensure that you have the required documents listed below. Furthermore, be sure to read the following steps carefully and closely follow the instructions found in each step of the process.

Required Documents

  • Citi College of Canadian Careers Application form will be emailed on request.
  • Notarized copies of high school, college or university transcripts.
  • Passport pages containing your photo and personal identification.
  • Additional documents may be required to complete your enrollment.
  • Please fill out the International Registration form found on this page and submit it directly or reach out to our Admissions office at study@citicollege.ca for a free assessment

International Registration

Step 1:

If the applicant meets the admissions criteria our admissions office will send you a request to send a deposit of 10% of total tuition fees and international fees along with payment instructions, and bank information. Upon receipt of the deposit, a formal Letter of Acceptance along with the program enrollment contract will be issued to process the Study Permit application. Citi College will acknowledge your payment by issuing a receipt and a statement of account with the remaining balance of tuition owing, and payment option.

Any Bank Fees associated with the wire transfer are the applicant’s responsibility. All funds transfer is required in Canadian Dollars.

Step 2:

Submit your signed enrollment contract to Citi College.

Step 3:

Once you receive your Letter of Acceptance package, follow these instructions; Go to the following URL: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/student.asp scroll down to the bottom of the page, and download the following documents: Study Permit Guide, Application for a Study Permit, and, Document Checklist: Visit your nearest Canadian High Commission to file your Canadian Study Permit. Make sure you provide them with a fully completed and accurate Study Permit Application Form, ensure that you include all supporting documents, and comply as per their requirements to ensure a positive outcome of your visa application.

Step 4:

Upon receipt of a response from the Canadian High Commission, you should immediately inform us of the outcome of your Canadian Study Permit Application by emailing your Admissions advisor. If your Canadian Study Permit application is not approved, you may request a revised Letter of Acceptance with a new program start date in order for you to file an appeal. Your request for a revised Letter of Acceptance or refund is valid for 6 months from the application date. You may send us the hard copy of the Visa refusal letter by post, or by scanning the Refusal letter and e-mail at study@citicollege.ca. If you are requesting a refund, the refund will be sent back within 10 business days from the time we receive your refusal. Administrative Fees of CAD $500 will be deducted from the deposit and the balance amount will be sent back, as per the bank information/instructions sent by you.
